Oats and Spinach Breakfast Recipe

Ingredients:
1cup of Oats ( 90 gms)
3 cups of spinach ( 90 gms)
1 big onion
1 Jalapeno
Garlic-2 cloves Or ginger garlic paste- ½ tbsp
Turmeric- ½ tsp
Cumin powder- ¼ tsp
Salt-1tsp Or as per your taste
Oil- 1 to 2 Tbsp
Method
Finely chop onion, garlic, spinach and jalapenos and keep aside.
Add oil in the heated pan and add finely chopped garlic.
Once the garlic starts turning light brown, add finely chopped onions and saute it for 1- 2 minutes.
Add chopped jalapeño and fry till the onions turn light brown in color.
Now add turmeric powder and chopped spinach and stir well. Add salt and put the lid and let it cook on medium heat for 1-2 minues, till the spinach reduces in size.
Meanwhile, add water to the oats and let it soak for 1 min. Now strain the oats and add it to the spinach, add cumin powder and stir well. Let it cook on simmer for a minute.
Its ready to serve. You can add a dash of lime and enjoy it when hot with Avocado slices.
